Our service helps managers gain an understanding of what else they need to have in place to secure an investment from an allocator. No fund is too new or too mature not to take a hard look at their asset raising process and to make the needed changes in order to succeed. Cap Intro Solutions’ Platinum Service includes our Advisory Service, which offers:
- Three, 45 minute 1×1 sessions with Dan and/or Paul where we will review the fund’s marketing materials, investor pitch, and infrastructure to perfect the manager’s pitch to investors
- An “office hours” session once per week where the CIS team will handle questions from any subscriber who attends
- The monthly performance report showing how the manager’s fund is faring versus the top performers in their peer group (Sample)
- Readiness reports/checklists that grade the fund’s preparedness in areas key to investor allocations, regardless of AUM (Sample)
The Platinum service also provides managers with the data and software required to conduct the types of sales and marketing campaigns that brand name hedge fund managers do for a fraction of the cost. It allows managers to streamline the investor outreach process by providing tracking data that allows them to focus attention on those investors showing real interest. The service includes:
- Data on over 1,000 alternative investment allocators (not differentiated by strategy)
- Email tracking software
- Secure document data rooms with software to track visitor engagement
- Simple CRM software that maintains this data and allows for reporting and tracking of personal interactions and follow up
Lastly, the Platinum service offers an economical way for managers to get their information out into the hands of potentially interested investors with the objective being to start a relationship with that investor that eventually leads to a meeting. The service includes:
- The CIS Cap Intro investor outreach team placing around 500 phone calls per month in order to poll approximately 30 investors in order to ascertain the strategies of interest to them and their investment criteria
- If an investor has interest in the manager’s strategy, CIS will forward the fund’s materials to the investor
- The investor has the ability to reach out to the manager and request a meeting via the Cap Intro Solutions Manager Information Portal
- The manager receives a report indicating which investors have been polled, what their interests are, and whether the fund information has been forwarded (Sample)
